Hi, my name is Josep and I'm from Premià, a small town nestled between the Catalan mountains and the Mediterranean coast. Since I was a child, I’ve felt fascinated by distant lands and cultures, inspired by Tintin’s adventures and the stories my parents used to tell me. That early spark turned into a true passion the first time I travelled alone abroad — that’s when I discovered how alive I felt exploring the world on my own. Since then, I try to always follow that inner voice that urges me to go out, get lost, and observe.

Travelling has taught me that the most powerful stories aren’t always found in famous monuments or breathtaking landscapes, but in the quiet, everyday moments that often go unnoticed. Over time, I’ve come to realise that, despite our differences, we all share something deeply human: the need to connect, to tell our stories, and to understand one another. That’s what I try to capture through my photography. What moves me is people — their routines, their gestures, and the emotions that make us human. Wherever we are, we smile, we dream, and we talk about love, music or football. That universal connection is what inspires me the most.
